June waitlist data is up

Wondering who is that one lucky person that got into Deal 6th grade!

Ross, Francis, Adams - 0 offers for 5th grades. This year's middle school lottery was brutal.

BASIS has made 66 waitlist offers. That's the most by June since SY17-18.

All DCI feeder students waitlisted were made offers. There was even one non-feeder waitlist offer for Spanish.

Only 16 waitlist offers at SWW so far. Pretty low compared to prior years.

Yes. I just wasn't sure what JR's target enrollment was and when waitlist offers would be needed to produce it.

It is much higher than last year for SWW. Will see how it plays out by August.

Last year they made 9 waitlist offers by June. But the year before that it was 38.

Someone on here keeps claiming that SWW is burning through its waitlist, but the data doesn't really show that (yet).

You forgot to add the longest waitlist charter school for 6th:

DCI spanish 271
DCI french 213
DCI Chinese 164

Here is for 5th grade

Basis 154
Latin 2nd 467
Latin Cooper 418

Summary - there is only a few acceptable middle schools on above list for many families and chances are slim to get in. It’s the most competitive seat. You better have plan B and C

No one said that and the year before that they made 3 and the year before that lots but kids were just coming back with Covid. So no it is not low compared to prior years and better picture by August.

What’s the deal with Maury offering 27 waitlist spots for K? Did they have to open an additional class or something?
