Oh man, somebody told me that the A in STEAM was for accounting. I thought it was weird but at least it makes more sense than art.

I'm going back to calling it STEM. Because I hate art and physical health.

No, it's not. Most designers of anything these days have to have some good CAD skills. Also still have to be able to sketch and do technical drawing. And then there's graphic design and endless other things that intertwine with STEM, STEAM, SSTEAM, and so on and so forth forever and even and then we realize that/s why acronyms suck. You'll always be missing something.

I think technical drawing and CAD is included within the T of STEM.

Adding arts to STEM makes perfect sense. It is not weird.

It makes sense because there is so much overlap between arts like music, and math.

In my experience Elementary and some middle schools are very bad at pulling off science and engineering events. Art events are much easier, so they started adding art activities to STEM programs. In my opinion it weakens true STEM initiatives but keeps kids happy and allows more students to participate.
