It’s not funny if you’re currently trying to buy a home.

I’m from LA and have seen so many houses like that one when I was growing up. Including the creepy doll collection.

You see, he was exposed to some addictive stuff as a kid, and he was drinking alcohol by 12 years old. This is, of course, his fault, as was his subsequent addiction to various substances of abuse. It's a moral failing.
