Usually clubs schedule high school games on decent fields. Also, they put their team in the wrong division by about three levels.

I think we were at the same game! Horrible field and I felt bad for the home team. After a while I stopped counting.

What’s bad about grass? You prefer gravel or sand? Loudoun is so entitled they forget how lucky they are to have top tier qualify for every day stuff. It’d be nice if this area gets rundown by hordes of savages to show you what you take for granted

My emails to several different individuals in TSJ have resulted in no replies in the past so I don’t fault the other poster in asking.

Lovely well-maintained grass soccer fields are fine. These are...not that.

Its shocking people pay st james prices to practice and play on fields that bad. We played on turf in rec for $100/season!

You have to understand that TSJ refuses to allow soccer to practice on the indoor turf if they can sell the time to lacrosse or football. And TSJ does not pay its bills when it rents third-party fields (because TSJ is a Ponzi scheme) so it cannot find local fields unless it pre-pays which it will not do. So you end up practicing out near West Virginia.

How or why anyone stays with that club is totally bonkers.

Who did they stiff on bills for field space?

Curious as well too. I don't see other organizations using Bles and I know it's hard to get field space in Loudoun.

TSJ is last in priority for public fields. The clubs that are registered as a Non-Profits get the field permits at a reduced county rate. TSJ doesn't have access nor could they afford fields if they did outside of their Springfield Field house.

Do they still have teams for next year?

Bles is not that team's main field. They play there occasionally. They also play on turf at Hanson Park. That team that played this past weekend practices on turf at GMU

They regularly have practices at Bles. We started at Hanson and got moved to Bles.

It looks like all their boys' 11v11 second teams play all their games at Bles.

Sounds like they have to practice there too.

I saw a bunch of boys showing up at their supplemental tryouts tonight. No sign of any girls…

so nobody knows where they'll practice next year and the home field ?

It sounds like they have to scrounge for space. Some games at Hansen, some at Bles.
Looks like they only rent GMU field for u-little games.
