maybe I'm just too poor and work-encumbered to enjoy DC lol |
| A wealthy relative of mine lived in somewhat smaller version of that in Georgetown - 3 houses combined, a beautiful garden and pool, tons of architectural details in the main levels of the house, an art gallery. And importantly, parking. It's not a bad way to live! |
| Beautiful place. But the yearly carrying costs would be higher than one average home in the US. |
| Not too shabby. I could get used to it |
| Agreed. I can’t stand the traffic but I do the same. |
| Love me a mansard roof. And I actually love the east village (think Georgetown gets a bad rap on DCUM) so I'd take it in a heartbeat. |
Right? If I'm leaving a house like that I don't mind sweating through a bit longer traffic on M street once in awhile.... |
| Love!!!!! |
| Law school boyfriend was a pool guy in the summer. Regular recurring issue with rats in backyard pools. |
We have a cover... no issue |
I typically hate a mansard roof but think they look good in Paris so I probably just hate more modern versions with asphalt shingles. This one looks good to me |
|
I do not love a mansard roof but that is a gorgeous property.
|
| They've used an AI filter on most of these photos and it makes me a bit annoyed. |
I agree, I think it’s poor taste to use heavy AI filters on a property this nice. But what do I know; I don’t buy or sell $14 million homes. |
| What AI filter artifacts are you guys seeing? I'm not catching them. |
