What’s the real salary for most lawyers in DC?

Come on, 99% of you aren’t big law gunslingers making $600k+. What’s the REAL average income for lawyers around here? I’ve seen so many resumes over the years with salary info. Most of you govt lawyers are in the $130-160k range. I even know an example of a govt lawyer with 30+ years exp. taking on and winning cases against massive corporations who is still only making $180k. My bro in law works for a nonprofit, earning about $88k. So, what are all of,you really making in DC. The average is more represented by the lawyers working for dc or fed, public servants for counties, small boutique firms, and nonprofits.

Must be an association or very large nonprofit? I’ve talked to corporate in-house that pay way less.

GS-15 gov attorney - $190k. Work about 45-50 hours a week so comparatively great work-life balance for the salary. Had I stayed in Biglaw I’d be around $350 but I’d also be working twice as much.
