When peripheral neuropathy is really bad

On days it is really intense, what helps you?

Most days it is manageable but today it is just nonstop and intensely distracting. I was even afraid to drive because it can make me feel spacey and clumsy.

Do you take 1200 mg of ALA per day? I never realize how much it helps until, for example, I go on vacation for a week and forget to bring it.

I only taken Pregabalin, and I’ve never tried ALA — thank you for the suggestion. I’m going to ask my doctor about it this week when I see him.

No problem. It's a supplement you can buy anywhere without a prescription, and it's been studied extensively (you can google to find more info). Not a cure, and I still have some bad days.
