| Why doesn’t Forest Edge ES have a new principal yet? They’ve had an interim principal for over 6 months, what’s the hold up? |

It’s April. They probably won’t hire one for the last few weeks of school. They’ll just get one over the summer to start in the fall. |

They are starting the process now. There was a hold up because the old principal was appealing her being fired and the job wasn’t officially “open” until just recently.
If anyone has an opinion about the current interim principal and wants to make sure she is NOT going to be the permanent principal, now is your time to voice your opinion. Otherwise, she will probably be it and, once again, Forest Edge is doomed. |

I heard she is just taking interim positions-some principals do that close to retirement? I don't know for sure... |

She does interim principalships for region 1. I can think of three other schools where she’s been the interim. |

She got fired for getting arrested over a drunken night in Loudoun with the former FE principal (she was the VP for that P). |

You forgot to added that the former Principal, who left to take a DEI job at Central Office, also wallet go from that position due to the same incident. |

She wasn’t in a DEI job; she was an Executive Principal for Region 3. |

One of them was in a R3 position, an equity position, and seems to be still listed in a made up Gatehouse position. The other one seems to be a principal in SC now. |
