If you were moving out of LA after several years

I would miss the weather (for the most part) the flowers, lizards and access to beautiful places.

Yeah, definitely not the people. Moved away 4 years ago and we miss: beaches, nature, museums and the ability to drive to said beaches, mountains, desert, etc all within a few hours. But not the people. The people are mostly what ruins it.

Well, I grew up there, so I have friends there from when I was young, and I miss them.

yes.. weather... gawd I miss the weather.

Beautiful sunsets.. went back a few weeks ago, and made my family drive to the beach and wait for the sunset. I hadn't seen a beach sunset in ages.

I am not a fan of LA city, so I would not do city stuff. I'd drive out to the beaches, mountains, desert.. drive down the 101/1/5 along the coast. I'd basically do as much outdoor activities as I could, and gorge on Mexican food (street tacos), El Pollo Chicken, and In and Out burger.

I live in LA and we're leaving next year. I can tell you one thing we won't be doing between now and then - in and out burger or any other fast food. Its disgusting. There's plenty of high end restaurants to visit instead.

Weather
Sunsets on the beach
Hikes in dry heat
Just being outside without sweating
Farmers markets
Dog friendly beaches
Tide pools in the winter
The original hamburger habit in old town goleta

Can you bottle up the dry sunshine to take wherever you're going?
